Click here for a special video message about worship this Sunday.

As the spread of the COVID-19 virus continues to disrupt our daily lives, your shepherds feel that this Sunday is a good time to pause, pray and reassure one another that the God we worship is in control. Our local, state, and national leaders have asked organizations to postpone large gatherings.

For these reasons and to protect those who are most vulnerable, this Sunday, March 15, we are cancelling our onsite services.  We are encouraging everyone to tune in to watch our LIVE STREAM service at 10:30 AM, or listen on the radio at AM 1300.  During that service, members of our staff and elders will lead us as we worship together—just not in the same location.

The worship time will include some songs recorded at previous worship services, prayers, communion time, a message of hope, and some information that will help each of us as we navigate through this new territory on our journey.

We have a supply of prefilled communion cups and wafers available in the church office. If you would like to pick up some, we will have them at the office Thursday and Friday.

Sunday’s worship service will immediately be archived on our website and can be watched at anytime from anywhere in the world.

Along with cancelling our worship services on Sunday morning, we are also cancelling our igNIGHT service on Sunday evening, our midweek service on Wednesday, March 18, and any nonessential activities in our building. However, we will continue to host Room in the Inn, as these men are in need of our assistance.   During this week our staff, elders and others will continue to evaluate the COVID-19 crisis and we will keep you informed through emails and our Daily Sonshine.

If you become ill or need assistance in any way, please contact the church office, or an elder or minister, at any time.

We remain concerned about our neighbors who are recovering from last week’s tornado.  Several of our family have lost loved ones this week. We have many family members traveling. We have other daily concerns that impact our lives.  Life does go on and God is in control!  We worship a risen Savior! This Sunday we will continue to worship, just in a slightly different manner.

May God bless us all and give us the peace and strength to continue to be Light and Love on our Journey.
