We will wrap up our serve month with a WALK4WATER on Sunday, October 1 at 4:00 p.m.  Following this will be a Box Lunch Picnic at 5:00 p.m. and a Service Celebration in our main auditorium at 6:00 p.m.

Everyone can participate in the WALK4WATER by making a donation that will help build a “WELL” as we team with Healing Hands International.  WHITE BUCKETS will be located at our auditorium doors for the next two weeks. Or you can give online on our website www.brentwoodhills.org and use the WALK4WATER pull down.  Be sure you register to walk to receive your free t-shirt.  You can do that here:  Sign up to WALK on Brentwood Hills’ page on the Healing Hands website by CLICKING HERE.

WALK4WATER is a fundraising program through Healing Hands International that helps support its clean water program in underdeveloped countries.  The average distance they walk for water is four miles, if there is even any water to be found. This pattern is not sustainable and stunts the growth of families and individuals everywhere. This is why we Walk4Water.
Starting in 2007, Walk4Water has hosted events in communities all over the nation at schools, churches, and organizations. The goal is to bring the life-saving gift of clean water to those who need it so desperately. Since 2001, we are grateful to share over 1,500 clean water wells have been drilled in over ten countries. The impact is exponential — clean water leads to abundant life!

September Serve” continues this month as you select ways to serve others!  This can be done as individuals or as a group (careteams, small groups, Sunday school classes, etc.).
