Mark Your Calendars: 25 Hours of Prayer – November 2nd & 3rd
For over 20 years, our church has dedicated the first Saturday in November as a special day of prayer. We will “gain” an extra hour that weekend, so we’ll have 25 hours to lift up every ministry, mission, and Brentwood Hills member by name in prayer. You can also submit any personal prayer requests, and they will be prayed over throughout the day. You can leave these prayer requests at the kiosk in the foyer, or online by CLICKING HERE.
To prepare our hearts for this special day of prayer, is a 25 Days for Prayer calendar attached below. Starting this Wednesday, October 9th, there is a different theme you can pray over each day leading up to November 2nd. These topics are based on the teachings of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. Copies of the calendar are also available at the kiosk in the foyer.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. on November 2nd, our church office conference room will be transformed into our Prayer Room for the next 25 hours. We invite you to sign up to come pray for an hour. You can sign up as an individual, a family, a small group, or a class to take part in this powerful time of prayer.
We will have dedicated prayer hours for our Kid’s Ministry, Student Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and Men’s Ministry. You can sign up for an hour at the kiosk in the foyer or CLICK HERE to sign up online.
Additionally, we are seeking volunteers to serve as Shift Leaders. These leaders will help keep our prayer room organized, take photos, refresh drinks and snacks, and provide instructions to those coming to pray. The kiosk in the foyer will have copies of the calendar, the sign up for 25 Hours of prayer as well as a place where you can leave your prayer requests.
