This past fall, Lisa McPherson was diagnosed with ALS. Many of our members know the McPherson family from her husband’s(Mike McPherson) time as the basketball coach and bible teacher at Lipscomb Academy.  Mike is currently the boys basketball coach and teacher at Nashville Christian School. Mike and Lisa have also been making a difference in our community as they have served in several different capacities in many different churches and missions around the area. Mike was the Youth Minister at Woodson Chapel for many years and is now currently serving as their Senior Minister.  The McPherson family has been there for not only many of our BHCC families, but has played a role in shaping the faith of countless families in our community. So we ask that you join us on April 8th as this large community gathers in the Family Life Center to support the McPherson family in their fight with ALS. This night will feature the band Erabellas  (starring our very own Megan Youngblood) as well as several other acts. All proceeds will go to the McPherson family.
